What is Hand Made Crafts and Thrift Shop?

We are a nonprofit thrift store and handmade craft shop located in Springfield, IL. Founded by Judy Turner, our mission is to support individuals and families in need through the sale of gently used items and handcrafted goods.

Where do the proceeds from purchases go?

All proceeds go directly toward local outreach efforts, including Helping Hands programs, care packages for the homeless, and support for individuals and families facing hardship in our community.

What kind of handmade items do you offer?

Our shop features a wide variety of handcrafted goods made by local artisans, including custom wreaths, crochet items, patchwork, scarves, dishcloths, baskets, seasonal décor, Christmas ornaments, pot holders, hats, and more.

Can I place a custom order?

Absolutely! We welcome custom orders for wreaths, crochet projects, and other handmade items. Just stop by the shop or contact us to discuss your ideas.

Do you offer craft classes?

Yes, we host craft classes where you can learn new skills, create custom projects, and connect with others in a fun, welcoming environment. All class fees help fund our nonprofit efforts.
